I love photographing in the woods. There’s something so magical about the light filtering through the trees and the leafy green. Any season, really. But, in autumn, those woods turn into an absolute jewel box of colors!
Using that colorful background as a complement to vibrant personalities makes for such a fun family session. So, when Kim called to schedule their first-ever family photo session, the forest was my first thought. First-ever, that’s a big deal! With three boys, we needed space to run and explore.
And some smaller, more shaded nooks for cuddles (someone took a tumble over his own little feet)…
