Kathy called me in June to schedule her family’s photo session this past fall. My kinda girl – I like to plan too. Three kids, two of which are boys under the age of 5, I knew we were going to have a high energy session and lots of fun together.
So, as always, I started planning for a spot that would give them room to run and play. And, who doesn’t like running up and down hills…or, if you’re anything like my kids, rolling down them?
The boys were bundles of energy…and, then, there was adorable little Elsie. The oldest and as soft and sweet as could possibly be. I loved the dynamic of these three cuties together.
I really love all those in-between moments that make up a family. Yep, more posed (ish) pictures are lovely, but my heart sings loudest when I see those private, quiet, or silly moments that make up a family’s life together.
Scerbo family, I’m delayed in posting this, but I so enjoyed our time together in the park by the river. It was a beautiful afternoon. Slipping on rocks aside, I hope you and the kids look back on that afternoon as a wonderful time just spent playing together! See you again soon!
